Pictures and ingredients above taken at Magic Kingdom (April 2024) at a frozen treat cart near Tom Sawyer’s boat dock (where only prepackaged frozen treats were being sold). Bottom right picture is strawberry Dole Whip from Sunshine Tree Terrace.
All treats and snacks included in our recommended list are marked safe for milk, egg, and nut allergies, with exception to coconut (coconut oil is in the popcorn and Dole Whip and coconut milk is in Blue Milk), per current ingredient binders. Suppliers, products, and vender locations can change. Always inform staff of your food allergies and request to see the ingredient binder before purchasing.
Dairy & Egg Free snacks and treats that we enjoy:
Frozen Strawberry Bar - Prepackaged & top 9 free.
Minute Maid Soft Frozen Lemonade - Strawberry or Lemonade flavors - top 9 free (contains corn).
Dole Whip - dairy-free fruit-flavored frozen soft serve (contains coconut oil). For more info, visit our Dole Whip post.
Mickey Pretzels (without the prepackaged cheese cups). More info, visit our Mickey Pretzel post.
Popcorn - Contains Coconut oil, but typically dairy-free at all park locations (unless specialty flavor). Always notify staff of your allergy and ask for the ingredient binder.
Maple Popcorn in Canada (at Epcot) - Binder shows tree nut allergy warning, but the only nut ingredient listed is coconut oil and we have eaten this with allergies to multiple tree nuts.
“Blue Milk” at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge - a fruit-flavored slushy treat containing rice and coconut milk.
Tofutti Soy-Milk Ice Cream - Available for dessert at many reservation dining locations, as well as some ice cream shops.
Fruit Flavored Sorbet - Available for dessert at most reservation dining locations.
Fruit - Available at carts, stands, and quick serve places throughout the parks, for example a whole piece of fruit like a mandarin orange or a banana or prepackaged bag of sliced apples.
Allergy Friendly Cookies - Often this is a single-serve package of top 9 free cookies, such as Partake brand, available at quick serve, reservation dining, some outdoor carts, and certain merchandise locations.
Donuts from Erin McKenna's Bakery in Disney Springs. Also served at O'hana restaurant at Disney's Polynesian resort.
May Contain Allergens:
The Olaf Popsicle Bar has a statement in the ingredient binder that says it “May Contain” Dairy, Egg, Nuts, Gluten, and Soy, so we avoid this frozen treat. If you are ok with small amounts of these allergens, this treat may be an option for you.
How we handle cross contact concerns:
Some carts sell only prepackaged frozen items (like the frozen strawberry bar above), so we are super comfortable ordering safe items there. Other venders sell popcorn (typically dairy free, contains coconut oil) and/or additional treats containing our allergens (e.g., churros, cookies, etc). When there are additional treats, and we see there is the possibility of cross contact, we ask additional questions to gauge our safety at that location (we have severe allergies to egg and milk and can react to small amounts):
1. What other products do they sell (any with dairy or egg ingredients)?
2. Are the allergen foods sold there prepackaged/sealed?
3. How do they keep the allergens from getting on the non-allergy food (some vendors understand cross contact and some don't)?
4. Are they able to wash hands/change gloves before handling our order?
Our Do's and Don'ts with Snack Venders:
We do buy Mickey pretzels made in a shared bakery, responsibly, with products containing dairy and egg. We do not get the accompanying cheese cup (contains dairy, but is in a prepackaged, fully sealed container). We don’t tend to buy snacks sold at the same location with messy dairy, eggs, or nut products, unless allergen items are prepackaged, or there is a clear separation of allergy and non-allergy items and staff is able to readily wash hands or change gloves before handling our order.
Three examples of our do's and don'ts:
We do buy Dole Whip from Sunshine Tree Terrace (from the dairy-free strawberry and orange Dole Whip machine), even though they also sell dairy soft serve ice cream. Since they have a separate dairy-free machine and quick access to a sink (and can wash hands before preparing our order), we are comfortable ordering from their location.
We do buy Mickey Pretzels from the vender on the Main Street at Hollywood Studios who also sells gourmet cheesy popcorn and chocolate chip cookies, but those items are prepackaged.
When staff can’t quickly and knowledgeably answer allergy related questions, or we feel the risk of cross contact is too high, we don't buy. For example, the Epcot Dole Whip stand had no ingredient binder or allergy awareness, so we left. See our Dole Whip post for more info on where to find this dairy free frozen treat.
We have been helped by so many great well-trained friendly staff and have happily enjoyed snacks and treats throughout the parks. Ocassionally we encounter staff who does not seem to understand our allergy concerns. When that happens, we are prepared to walk away and find something else. When we find cast members (staff) who really go the extra mile to make us feel welcome and safe, we show our appreciation using the MyDisneyExperience app to send a "cast compliment".
Best Wishes,
No Dairy, No Eggs, No Problem

A Note About Walt Disney World Dining and Food Allergies:
Disney restaurants do not contact the food manufacturers of their ingredients to inquire about shared lines or shared facilities (this information is determined optional labeling by the FDA). Allergen advisory statements (e.g., “may contain") are not regulated and therefore not taken into consideration when developing allergy-friendly meals. It is your responsibility to ask for product brand names, ingredient lists (or to see the allergy binder), or to inquire about cross contact risks (e.g., desserts), should that be something that you need to know. For more information about dietary policies at Disney World restaurants, or for guests with four or more food allergies (or non-top 9 allergies), please contact Disney's Special Diets.

No dairy no eggs no problem is not intended to offer medical advice. We are just one allergy family. We follow the advice of our own allergist. All allergy families are different. Disney has great food allergy training and kitchen procedures, but there are no guarantees when dining out. Please consult your own doctor regarding safe strategies for dining out and always be prepared with an allergy action plan and emergency medication (Epi-Pen), just in case.
